Varsity Head Coach - OC/DB

Coach Montesano is entering his 24th year coaching football at RH.  He began as freshman football coach in the fall of 1999, has coached at the JV level, and has also served as the Defensive Coordinator on the varsity under legendary RH Football Coach Werner Kleemann.  In 2005 he took over as the Head Football coach on the varsity level and served in that position until 2016.  The 2007, 2010, and 2011 teams won Section V titles. The 2010 team won the New York State AA Championship with a perfect 13-0 record.  Coach Montesano is a graduate of Brockport State College where he was a member of the football team.  He currently resides in Avon with his wife Nicole, daughters Olivia and Brielle, and son Caden. 

Varsity Assistant - DC/RB/ILB

Coach Pusateri is entering his 24th season of coaching football. He has been in charge of the defense at RH since 2007. Prior to that he was the JV Head Coach at Avon, a Modified Assistant Coach at RH, and the JV Head Coach at RH. Coach Pusateri also coaches basketball. He lives in Pittsford with his wife Neely, and their children Tessa and Brody.

Varsity Assistant - WR/DB

Coach Black is entering his 21st season coaching football with RH. He has coached defensive backs and wide receivers at RH since 2009. Prior to that, he was a JV assistant coach at RH. He lives in Henrietta with his wife Jennifer and has two sons, Eric and Nicholas, who previously attended RH.

Coach Schlesing is entering his 16th season  coaching football. He

started his coaching career in 1999 coaching the varsity offensive and

defensive lines for Wayne Central. From 2001 to 2006, he served as the

JV line coach, special teams coach, and defensive coordinator for

Irondequoit High School. From 2007 to 2012 he served as the varsity

offensive and defensive line coach for Irondequoit High School. In 2014,

Coach Schlesing also served in the same capacity for Penfield High

School. For the past 7 years he has served as a volunteer football coach at

Avon High School. Coach Schlesing played college football at the

University of Rochester where he was a 1 st Team All-Conference center.

Coach Schlesing is a science teacher at Irondequoit High School and

currently lives in Henrietta with his wife Holly and their two children Leo and Carly

 Junior Varsity Head Coach - OL/DL

Coach Sudol is entering his 7th year of coaching football. Throughout his tenure he has been the JV defensive coordinator and head coach. Coach Sudol also coaches modified wrestling and modified girls lacrosse. He lives in Webster with his wife Colleen and their children Elena and Ryan.  

 Junior Varsity Assistant - OC/WR/DB

Coach DeLone is a 2008 graduate of Rush Henrietta and entering his 2nd year as the JV offensive coordinator. He also works with the defensive backs. Coach DeLone has coached lacrosse at Rush Henrietta for the last 8 years. He currently teaches at the elementary level in the Rochester City School District. He lives in the North Winton Village with his wife Hannah.  

Junior Varsity Assistant - WR/ILB

 Coach Cole is entering his 5th season at RH coaching JV football. He has been coaching Special Teams, RB's & LB's. Coach Cole also coaches modified wrestling at RH and Varsity lacrosse in Greece. He is a proud Rush Henrietta alumni from the class of 2012. Coach Cole lives in Greece with his soon to be wife, Kelsey, and their dog Dixie. 

Junior Varsity Assistant - RB/OLB

Coach McDonald is in his 1st year coaching football at RH. A 2016 graduate of RH, he played 3 years of varsity football. Following his career at RH he attended Utica College where he played two years of football for the Pioneers. Coach McDonald went on to graduate from West Virginia University with a degree in Health & Well Being. He has developed a passion for helping young people reach their potential. He is currently working full time as project coordinator for drug free Irondequoit, which is a non for profit organization focused on preventative work reducing substance use among youth.

Modified Head Coach - OC/QB/RB/LB

Coach MacMillan will be entering his 29th football season and his 21st season at RH. Prior to RH Coach MacMillan was the JV Coach at Wayne High School and before that was a defensive coordinator at Brighton HS. Coach MacMillan is also the Varsity boys lacrosse at RH and lives in Henrietta with his wife Stephanie and has three kids: Alexis, Elle and Gunner who are also former RH grads.
